Get this one if you like fast moving suspense novels. I read this in 7 hours and in 1 day. Lots of characters and lots happening. Some humor, but also timely due to the perceived homegrown terror in America. Women will like this one due to Maddie, the AIC, (FBI agent in charge), and dog lovers will go for this book due to Rowdy, (the Aussie sheep dog), locating the kidnapped girl. Whoops!!, Did I give too much of the story away? NO! Just get it and curl up and enjoy. Sure hope a follow-up or sequel is coming.Product details

i couldn't put the book down. I love mystery and thrillers and this book was excellent. want to see more from this author and can hardly wait for his next book. this is a 5 stars for sure.
This book has everything if you like Mystery Novels. I really liked this book and suspect it was written by a more famous writer using another fictitious name here. Read it and you will see what I mean. I only wish I could find it on Audio so I could send a copy to my in-laws. They love listening to mystery novels on their long drives to visit. I’m really looking forward to his next book.
My Brothers book was so interesting, it kept my attention so well I read it in two days, and I don't normally do a lot of reading !!
This is a great book. Suspenseful and intriguing. You can really picture each of the characters and feel like you know them. I enjoyed the book very much.
I really enjoyed this book. A fun read with suspense. I really liked the familiar locations and the characters. I had traveled to the Davenport area many, many years ago and Chas took me right back there. Looking forward to another Burt Segal book. Loved it!!!!
I loved this book! It's not the usual type of book I read but that being said I couldn't put it down. I'm hoping this will be a series. This book was written is such a way that I feel a bond with the characters and a part of the Clinton community. Please don't leave me hanging.........
